The Aqara Smoke Detector is a fully autonomous, photoelectric smoke detector alarm that identifies fires by detecting smoke. As soon as the smoke concentration reaches a preset threshold, the device will sound and light an alarm. It also sends a notification to the Aqara app via the gateway. To use the device, an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub is required. Apple HomeKit integration requires a compatible Aqara hub.
